K-Visual 4, 5 & 6 September 2026
K-Visual celebrates the creativity, innovation, and diverse voices of emerging visual artists, connecting arts and the local community through exhibitions, talks and workshops for children and families. It will exhibit throughout Killorglin in a mixture of found and borrowed spaces, enlivening the town & encouraging everyone to welcome artists and visitors to Killorglin.
K-FEST Statement on the future of the festival
After 11 phenomenal years, the Team & Trustees of K-FEST have taken the difficult but necessary decision to bring K-FEST to an end. Thanks to everyone who took part, to the artists and performers and to the many brilliant people who worked so hard making a festival that transformed our wonderful town. We extend our heartfelt thanks to every participant, volunteer, funder, sponsor, teacher, and community and audience member who has supported K-FEST over the years. Your passion, dedication, commitment and enthusiasm made K-FEST truly memorable and equally special.
Since 2013, K-FEST has brought together artists, children, families, visitors, and our broader community to celebrate creativity, culture, and social connection within Killorglin. As times change, it now feels like the right moment to close the K-FEST chapter and celebrate our shared accomplishments together.
Whilst K-FEST will not continue, its spirit will live on in a new festival — K-Visual — that is currently being planned for September 2026.
