IMAGINATION AND REGENERATION

K-FEST Artists have been leaving their mark on the town of Killorglin with their beautifully thought provoking and incredibly talented work since 2013. The towns disused, derelict and long-forgotten buildings have been set up to host more than 800 artists and 4,500 original works of art over the years. Our emerging and established artists alike bring their paint, print, sculpture, performance, textiles, fashion, graphic design, photography, film, and audio-visual pieces for display in these strange spaces, and visitors flock to listen, to learn, to think, to feel and to engage. The pop-up Galleries are a wonderful trail to embark on over the bank holiday weekend, whether you’re an art lover or just wishing to cure your curiosity, you will not be disappointed.

Artists Act as Resuscitators

It’s K-FEST’s ferociously talented exhibiting artists who breathe life back into the derelict and disused buildings throughout Killorglin. Check out these great videos of past (and maybe even future) K-FEST artists and Screaming Pope Prize finalists, and peruse through a ton of cool snaps of our pop-up galleries captured over the past five years.
