K-FEST PRESENTS ANOTHER YEAR OF BRILLIANT IRISH INDEPENDENT MUSIC

K-FEST is delighted to present another year of some of the best in up-and-coming Irish bands, musicians and DJ’s. Our music team scours the land at gigs and showcases to put together a music programme to show the audiences of K-FEST that independent music in Ireland is alive and well and bursting with incredible talent. We take these acts and put them on stages throughout existing venues and spaces in the compact town of Killorglin making it effortless to catch as much as you want, from punk to pop to electronic to folk to classical and many genres in between. Check out our full line-up, which includes biographies, video and social media links of the acts and also there is a handy Spotify playlist on this page.

NEW RADIO STATION CHAMPIONING IRISH BANDS, SINGERS AND MUSICIANS

At last a dedicated radio station for Irish music is giving both established and up-and-coming artists the air time they deserve. It’s been no secret to those who work within the Irish music industry and those who attend the gigs that the scene in Ireland punches way above its weight and deserves to be accessible to a wider music listening audience. So ditch that regurgitated formulaic ‘hit’ music pressed upon the commercial stations and discover the breadth of amazing Irish music artists on Play Irish. And go to a few Irish artist gigs while you’re at it!

You can listen to Play Irish on their website or download the Irish Radio Player app. K-FEST are proud to be streaming Play Irish at their music venues this year.
