God Creatures stars Emily Watson, Paul Mescal and Aisling Franciosi, and is directed by Saela Davis and Anna Rose Holmer.
God’s Creatures is a powerful drama set in a windswept rural fishing village, where a mother is torn between protecting her beloved son and her own sense of right and wrong. A lie she tells for him rips apart their family and close-knit community in this tense, sweepingly emotional epic.
It is one of only 24 feature films that will debut in the 54th Cannes Directors’ Fortnight line-up this year, which runs from 18th to 27th May.
