Donal Lucey is a twenty-year-old singer-songwriter from Killarney, Ireland but studying music full time in the Cork School of Music. Influenced heavily by modern singer-songwriters such as Ed Sheeran and Dermot Kennedy as well as other artists such as Bon Iver and The Lumineers. Donal started his music journey at a very young age but only released his debut single ‘Another Love Song’ December 20th, 2019, and has over 26,000 streams and counting with his audience spreading across the UK, Ireland Australia, Germany and the United States as well as being played on local radio stations such as Radio Kerry and Red FM. He recently released his new single ‘Politics of the Heart’ on the 28th of May 2021. He has been gigging nonstop in Killarney in venues such as the INEC, The Celtic Steps Arena and weekly in pubs and nightclubs such as J.M. Reidy’s and McSorley’s over the last 3 years. He has performed as a support act for acts such as Brian Deady, Tom Lucey and The 4 of Us as well as playing a slot at the K-FEST Café Sessions.
