Having grown up in a musical household, singing has long established a place in Rita’s heart. In her writing, the Cork native hopes to evoke shared truths, drawing influence from nature, intimacy, movement, heartache and spiritual wonder. Having recently released her debut EP, ‘This Place’, recorded in her family home with the help of her father/musician Jack Doherty, Rita now hopes to hold a space for audiences to unravel inward through her soulful set.
