Sparrow Academy of Dance and Stage is a new performing arts school based in mid and south Kerry. We welcome you to witness our first performance at K-Fest. We come together from our centres in Killorglin, Cahersiveen, Milltown and Killarney to dance and sing together. Students train in Ballet, hip hop, contemporary dance, modern jazz dance, singing and drama under professional dancer Katrina Galvin. Watch us in action and see what the students have been getting up to as well as a taster of what’s to come. Katrina began her dance classes a week before the first lockdown however has been amazed to watch her students never give up. “We have progressed from zoom to outdoor classes and finally delighted to be performing today” The symbol of the Sparrow is empowerment, creativity and community.
