Currently in his third year of studying Sculpture and combined media at LSAD, Struàn Bell is next in our ‘Meet The Artist’ series.
Struàn’s work is informed by the intersection between traditional mid 20th century sculpture and concepts surrounding structural intimidation.
Working through a multitude of mediums including the making of objects, primarily in plaster. These concepts are then explored further through paintings and other art forms.
Struàn’s artistry focuses on the idea of moving images created through a combination of diagrams, visual interactions with objects and space and written words. We can’t wait for you to meet him June 3rd-6th here in Killorglin at K-FEST.
